Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

Nationally Notable. Resident. Occurs sparingly at light and sometimes by day, in a very few places in both vice-counties. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to third week of July. Larvae feed on the berries of buckthorn and dogwood. (Pratt, 2011).
