Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

Resident. Only recently found in one location, so in danger of extinction in West Sussex; undetected in East Sussex since 1926. Single-brooded, flying mainly during July. Larvae feed on the flowers of marjoram, dropwort, and dyer's green-weed. (Pratt, 2011).
