Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

A rare moth with records from only four localities at mv light since 1900. Most of these sites have recorded singles although there has been a series of records at Walberton since 1991. The larvae has been reported feeding inside the buds of black poplar. (Pratt, 2011).
