Status and ecology:

National Status: Migrant

A rare and episodic immigrant always found within seven miles of the coast in both vice-counties. The adults mainly appear in February and again between early September and October. The larvae feed on the roots of cereal crops abroad and it is thought to sometimes be accidentally imported. (Pratt, 2011).
