Status and ecology:
National Status: pRDB3
A Red Data Book Class 3 and Biodiversity Action Plan Priority species. Aside from the Haslemere area, just two localities have been logged for this species in Sussex. The species was judged a rarity at Guestling during the years running up to 1878; and Wolstonbury was added in a collation of Lepidoptera in the Victoria County History of 1905. Larvae feed on the shoots and green fruits of currant in other counties. (Pratt, 2011)
