Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A resident species usually occurring singly or sparingly at mv light along the coast, although it is sometimes fairly common to common in a few spots inland. Well distributed and increasing. This species is apparently single-brooded flying mainly from late May to late September, sometimes to the second week of October. The larval foodplant is not known in this country. (Pratt, 2011).
