Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

A resident species, occurring singly at mv light in both vice-counties, chiefly in a few woodland rides and clearings. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early June to early August. Larvae feed elsewhere on wood sage and great mullein. (Pratt, 2011).
