Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce A

The only Sussex biviella record was made at a mv moth trap at Elm's Farm, Icklesham on August 9th 2005. This is a pine feeding species which flies from mid June to mid August and has been spreading around Lydd since at least 2004. (Pratt, 2011).
