Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

A resident species occurring singly or sparingly by day in a few places in woodland clearings near Arundel and Hastings. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to late June. Larvae feed on the seeds and lower leaves of germander speedwell. (Pratt, 2011)
