Status and ecology:

A resident species occurring singly or sparingly in most woods, occasionally fairly common at mv light in parts of West Sussex. Only thinly distributed away from the far east. Single-brooded flying mainly from mid May to the third week of August. Larvae feed on red campion. (Pratt, 2011)
