Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

Only two good records of this species have been confirmed. Both were singletons, netted by day at Poundfield Wood, Plaistow in 1968 and Holland Wood, Petworth in 1995. Larvae are said to feed on alder. (Pratt, 2011)
