Status and ecology:

An immigrant species scarce at rest, feeding in flight and at mv light, with 15 individuals recorded during the 20th century. This species arrives between the second week of September and mid November, and occasionally from late August or to mid November, with lesser earlier migrations from early May onwards. Larvae feed on grape-vine. (Pratt, 2011)
