Status and ecology:

This resident species occurs sparingly or fairly commonly at mv light in a wide range of habitats, probably generally distributed, but local in numbers. Single-brooded flying mainly from late July to mid September. The larval foodplant has been recorded as unidentified herbaceous plants. (Pratt, 2011)
