Status and ecology:

A resident species which generally occurs singly but is occasionally seen sparingly at mv light in deciduous woods. Very local, missing from a large part of the south-east of the county, and in decline. Single-brooded flying mainly from early June to mid July. Larval foodplants are honeysuckle and bilberry. (Pratt, 2011)
