Status and ecology:

A resident species which normally occurs singly or sparingly but is sometimes fairly common to common at mv light in a wide range of habitats. Widespread and well distributed, but very local and irregular in numbers. Single-brooded flying mainly from early May to mid July. Larvae feed on dyer's greenweed. (Pratt, 2011)
