Status and ecology:

A resident species often common to very common at mv light widely inland, but usually a little less frequent along the coast. Probably generally distributed. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early March to early June. Larvae feed on many trees and shrubs and low-growing plants. (Pratt, 2011)
