Status and ecology:

An immigrant and suspected episodic resident species occurring singly in a wide range of habitats, but sometimes sparingly at mv light near the coast. Regular in appearance since 1975 and annual since 1999. The species generally arrives between mid-August and late November. Larvae feed on various grasses. (Pratt, 2011)
