Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

Resident. Occurs singly at light at a few localities within five miles of the coast in both vice-counties. Triple or perhaps continuously brooded, flying from late April and May, in August and in October and November. Larvae feed on plant seed and woollen refuse. (Pratt, 2011)
