Status and ecology:

National Status: Nb

An increasing resident species often fairly common at mv light near reed-beds. Well distributed, although missing from extreme north-west of the county. Single-brooded flying mainly from mid July to mid October. Larvae feed on the stems of wild yellow iris, common club-rush and bulrush. (Pratt, 2011)
