Status and ecology:

An immigrant species usually occurring singly in a wide range of habitats. Occasionally common at mv light near the coast. Usually encountered from the third week of July to late October. Larvae have not been recorded in Sussex although they have been found on Persicaria elsewhere. (Pratt, 2011)
