Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A resident species occurring singly or sparingly at mv light in a few places but scarce in the East. Triple-brooded, flying mainly throughout May and June, from late July to late September and again from late October to early November. Larvae feed on the leaves of garden azalea and on rhododendron. (Pratt, 2011)
