Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

A resident species with Red Data Book Class 3 status, occurring singly at mv light in a few deciduous woods. Single-brooded, flying mainly from mid-September to late October, re-emerging in March and April. Larvae feed on alder. (Pratt, 2011)
