Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

A resident species. Scarce at mv light in a very few places in both vice-counties, although it sometimes occurs sparingly at Marley Common. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to late June. Larvae feed on the berries of mountain ash. (Pratt, 2011).
