Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A resident that occurs singly at mv light in a few wooded areas in the north of West Sussex. It is undetected in the east of the county. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from late June to late August. The larvae feed on oak although this needs to be confirmed in Sussex. (Pratt, 2011).
