Status and ecology:

National Status: pRDB2

Not recorded in Sussex. In Britain, only known from the coast of Dorset although may be over-looked elsewhere due to the similarity of its leaf mine to S. aurella. The larvae mine the leaves of bramble and are continuously brooded (MBGBI).
