Status and ecology:

National Status: pRDB1

Noted from Brighton in Victorian times, it was then discovered at Camber Sands in 1969 and was still present there in 1995. The only subsequent record is from Winchelsea in 1997. Adults have been captured during August and the larvae feed on Nottingham catchfly (Pratt, 2011).
