Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce A

Resident in Victorian times at Shoreham, Ford and Rye, where larvae were found in the flower-heads of sea aster. Recent records have only been made at Camber Sands and the adjacent Winchelsea. Adults were noted in mid to late August (Pratt, 2011).
