Status and ecology:
National Status: Nationally Scarce B
A resident species in danger of extinction in West Sussex and only known from Storrington; presumed extinct in East Sussex since its last listing in 1931. Perhaps seriously under recorded in both vice-counties. It is probably double brooded, flying mainly during May and again in July and August. Larvae feed on salad burnet. (Pratt, 2011)
