Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

History - Sightings said to have been anonymously made in East and West Sussex in 1800. The only satisfactory county record concerns successful breeding of adults from larval mines searched out in aspen and collected from Abbot's Wood September 1884 by WHB Fletcher. (Pratt, 2011)
