Status and ecology:
National Status: Common
Resident. Occurs singly at mv light in a few places in both vice-counties; in danger of extinction in East Sussex. Single-brooded, flying mainly from mid July to mid August. Larvae are said to feed on moss on old walls. (Pratt,2011)
