Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

The only modern records in West Sussex are from Walberton on 7th July 1992 and 20th August 1999, and at Chapel Common on 28th August 2006 and at Iping Common on 13th June 2007. The only East Sussex specimen came to an mv light on Winchelsea Beach on 18th August 1997. (Pratt,2011)
