Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

Resident. Normally occurs singly at mv light in a very few places on our best quality surviving downland in both vice-counties, although it is sometimes fairly common on Kithurst Hill. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early July to mid August. Larvae feed on Lotus, Trifolium and Medicago spp. (Pratt, 2011).
