Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

Apart from a single record in 1900, this moth has only been found in the Rye, Icklesham and Beckley areas in the far east and at Climping in the west. Adults have been seen in July and early August and are associated with alder (Pratt, 2011).
