Status and ecology:
National Status: Nationally Scarce B
A resident species, rare and in recent times only found at Middleton-on-Sea. Single-brooded, flying mainly from May to July. Larvae feed on broad-leaved willowherb. (Pratt, 2011).
Although recorded in Sussex, the database has not as yet, been updated to include these records.
