Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

Resident. Occurs sparingly by day and at light in a few places in both vice-counties, the East Sussex downs being the most favoured. Single-brooded flying mainly from the third week of June to mid August. Larvae are said to feed under stones on a variety of low-growing plants. (Pratt, 2011).
