Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

Resident. Occurs sparingly in a wide range of habitats, but is sometimes fairly common at light in deciduous woods in both vice-counties. Single-brooded flying mainly from the second week of June to the third week of July. Larvae feed on oak, hornbeam and maple. (Pratt, 2011).
