Tortricidae

1193 (Saltmarsh Bell), Eucosma tripoliana (Barrett, 1880)

Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A very rare resident that is found near the coast. First reported in modern times in 1969, there have been a subsequent six records. It has been associated with golden rod in the county but this needs confirmation as elsewhere the larvae are known to feed on the flowers and seeds of sea aster. (Pratt, 2011).
