Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

A resident that occurs singly at mv light in a few wooded habitats across the county. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from mid June to early August, occasionally from late May. The larvae feed under the bark and inside the seeds of sycamore. (Pratt, 2011).
