Status and ecology:

National Status: Local

A resident species, generally occurring singly or sparingly at mv light in a wide range of habitats in both vice-counties, although both colonies and numbers are higher in the south-east. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early June to late September. Larvae feed on ploughman's spikenard and common fleabane. (Pratt, 2011).
