1746 Shoulder Stripe, Anticlea badiata ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Status and ecology:

A resident species, normally occurring sparingly or fairly commonly in many bushy places, and occasionally common in the north. Widespread, but large areas are without recent record and high numbers are very local and irregular. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early March to late April. Larvae feed on dog rose. (Pratt, 2011)
