1764 Common Marbled Carpet, Chloroclysta truncata (Hufnagel, 1767)

Status and ecology:

A resident species, often occurring sparingly or fairly commonly at mv light. Probably generally distributed but high numbers are local and restricted to woodland. Recent numbers are in decline. Double-brooded, flying from mid-May to early July and from mid-August to mid-November. Larvae have a wide variety of food plants. (Pratt, 2011)
