1776 Green Carpet, Colostygia pectinataria (Knoch, 1781)

Status and ecology:

A resident species, generally occurring sparingly or fairly commonly at mv light in a wide range of habitats. Occasionally common in the east and very common in parts of the west. Probably generally distributed, but local in high numbers and much less frequent along the coast. Double-brooded, flying mainly from early May to mid-July and from mid-August to mid-September. Larvae feed on bedstraw. (Pratt, 2011)
