1789 Scallop Shell, Rheumaptera undulata (Linnaeus, 1758)

Status and ecology:

A resident species usually occurring singly at mv light in a wide range of habitats, although preferring deciduous woods and heathland. Single-brooded flying from mid June to the second week of August. Larvae feed on aspen and sallow, including goat willow. (Pratt, 2011)
