1796 Pale November Moth, Epirrita christyi (Allen, 1906)

Status and ecology:

A resident species sometimes fairly common to common at mv light in deciduous woods in west Sussex, although there are apparently very few colonies away from the Ashdown Forest region of East Sussex. Single-brooded flying mainly from mid October to the third week of November. Although not determined in Sussex the larval food plants listed elsewhere included a wide range of deciduous tress and shrubs. (Pratt, 2011)
