Status and ecology:

National Status: Common

A moth which has retreated to West Sussex since the late 1980’s (Pratt, 2011), two caterpillar cases were identified on an oak trunk at the Chequer's Hotel, Pulborough on November 11th 2012 (Pratt, 2013).
