1879 Seraphim, Lobophora halterata (Hufnagel, 1767)

Status and ecology:

This woodland species occurs sparingly at mv light, although it can sometimes be fairly common. Only thinly distributed , local and distinctly irregular in numbers, this species is considered to possibly be experiencing a decline. Adults fly in a single brood mainly from early May to mid June. Larvae feed on aspen. (Pratt, 2011)
