1894 Latticed Heath, Chiasmia clathrata (Linnaeus, 1758)

Status and ecology:

A resident species reinforced by migration; occurring singly or sparingly by day and at mv light on the downs, in woodland rides and clearings, on heaths and waste ground. Widespread away form the north-west, extremely local and very irregular in appearance. A double brooded species, flying mainly throughout May and June then again from late July to the third week in September. The larvae feed on clovers.(Pratt 2011)
