2159a Splendid Brocade, Lacanobia splendens (Hübner, 1808)

Status and ecology:

Immigrant and suspected resident. Occurs singly or sparingly at mv, chiefly near the coast. Double brooded, flying in late July and to a lesser extent in late September. Larvae feed on Convolvulaceae, black nightshade and bittersweet on the continent (Pratt, 2011).
