Status and ecology:

National Status: Nationally Scarce B

Resident. Nationally Notable occurs sparingly at light in West Sussex, although adults are sometimes common in woods near Petworth. Undetected in East Sussex since 1999. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late May until mid July. Larvae feed on unspecified dead sticks. (Pratt, 2011)
