Status and ecology:

National Status: Nb

An immigrant and episodic resident species which occurs singly or sparingly in a wide range of grassy habitats; it is sometimes fairly common and occasionally common at mv light along parts of the coast. Well distributed in the south, much less so in the north but increasing. Double-brooded, flying mainly from late May to early August, then again more numerously from late August to early November. Larvae feed on unspecified grasses. (Pratt, 2011)
